
Arrow McLaren, a famous team in IndyCar racing, recently said goodbye to David Malukas. Malukas, who’s from Chicago, got hurt in a biking accident before the season started. He hurt his wrist badly and needed surgery, so he couldn’t race.
Arrow McLaren had to let Malukas go because he couldn’t race and they weren’t sure when he’d be back. Malukas got hurt in a biking accident and couldn’t race, so Arrow McLaren had to let him go.
They brought in Callum Ilott and Theo Pourchaire to take his place.
Callum Ilott did well in the first race in St. Petersburg, and Theo Pourchaire made his debut in Long Beach. Both drivers showed they can handle racing in IndyCar.
Malukas was all set to race for his third season with Arrow McLaren, but his injury changed things. He’s thankful for the chance he had with Arrow McLaren and hopes to get back to racing once he’s better.
Arrow McLaren is still figuring out who will race for them for the rest of the season. Fans are curious to see who they’ll pick.
Letting Malukas go was a big deal for Arrow McLaren. Both the team and Malukas want to do well in IndyCar racing.
