Brad Pitt’s F1 The Movie Is Already A Blockbuster In The Making

Critics have spoken, and F1 The Movie has already been touted as the seasonal movie rush at the cinemas. This Brad Pitt-starrer racing drama has made it big in the eyes of the critics as it is slated to run at Radio City Music Hall in New York as a world premiere. Being directed by Joseph Kosinski and developed with the support of Formula 1, the film does not only look authentic but it feels authentic as well. It can be attributed to Lewis Hamilton, seven-time F1 world champion and the film executive producer who made sure the movie retained the essence of the sport.

The early reviews are nothing but ecstatic, going at high-speed thrills, and emotional depth. Drew Taylor of The Wrap labeled it as “absolutely incredible” and said that the movie is a combination of jaw-dropping visuals and gut-wrenching emotional appeal. The cinematography of the film shocked Variety Jazz Tangcay who commended the sound design plus the performances of Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.

It was called a pulse-racing spectacle by Rotten Tomatoes critic Austin Burke, and he invited people to see it on the biggest screen they can possibly find. And the same voice was also stated by the individuals like Griffin Schiller who referred to it as the film event of the summer. He has given credit to the team of Kosinski, Miranda and Zimmer to create visceral experience, which is like a Formula 1 car at full acceleration.

The beauty of the movie F1 The Movie is that it did not focus on being a racing movie only. It is the tale of passion, pride, remorse, and redemption. Pitt and Idris outshine as a former racing legend and the upstart, respectively, who was drawn back into the sport in which he has everything to lose or gain. The way they have chemistry creates a tale that is as engaging out of the song as it is in the song. It all has the strain, the action, the melodrama, and it is powerful.

Those not even knowing much about Formula 1 are also relating to the movie. Maude Garrett of Nerdist fessed up that she is not a fan of F1 but after this movie she might be out of love alone. Prior racing knowledge is also unnecessary as is noted by Mark Daniell of The Sun. The movie is an address to all fans of strong narration, great action, and memorable rendition. It is a blockbuster, which is made to be enjoyed by all.

The technical team has to be clapped. Post-edited real race weekend footage, practical effects, shootable-in-IMAX imagery, and a sound mix fit to shake the bones: it is a film that was firmly made to play in cinemas. The music of Hans Zimmer beats like the engine work of a car at full throttle, and the camera of Claudio Miranda depicts the frustration and glory of motorsport in grace.

In the centre of the whole story is Brad Pitt, who gives one of his most down-to-earth performances in several years. His acting as a damaged, aging star racer plagued with his history is uncut and very real. Damson Idris, in turn, is an up-and-comer who has plenty of charisma, energy, and conviction. This would give this art a touch of a magic, which transforms great films into excellent films.

They have not yet shown any negative review. That in itself speaks volumes. When such a film gets universal accolades before it even comes out officially into the cinemas, then you know you are dealing with something very special. As pessimists as well as optimists say, as analysts as well as fans say, everyone seems to be in agreement that F1 The Movie is not a movie to be missed.

It arrives in theatres of other countries on June 25 and in North America on June 27. And going by the early hype, it is not only racing to success, but it is already in the lead.
