Barber Motorsports Park has confirmed that the IndyCar Series race on Sunday, April 28th will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. This announcement fills in the missing piece from the broadcast schedule released by NBC Sports and IndyCar for the 2024 season. The event, titled the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
This race at Barber Motorsports Park will be the third points-paying event on the IndyCar Series schedule for the year, despite there being three IndyCar events scheduled before it. Preceding the main race, there will be a $1 Million Challenge non-points exhibition race at The Thermal Club, set to air on NBC and Peacock at 12:30 ET on Sunday, March 24th.
