Valentino Rossi and Luca Marini (Repsol Honda Team) showcased their winning synergy at the 100km dei Campioni in Tavulia over the weekend. The ninth edition of the winter race attracted some of the most prominent names in MotoGP™, but it was the 44-year-old rider who demonstrated his enduring prowess among the elite. Completing the 50 laps in 1:45.54, Rossi and Marini claimed the top spot from pole with a two-second lead over Elia Bartolini and Celestino Vietti of the Red Bull KTM Ajo team. This triumph marked Marini’s second success of the weekend, following his earlier win in Saturday’s ‘Americana’ race.

The final podium positions were rounded out by Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac Racing) and Andrea Migno. Reigning World Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), partnered with Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), secured the sixth position. They crossed the finish line after Diogo Moreira (Italtrans Racing Team) and Ferran Cardus in fourth, and VR46 new boy Fabio di Giannantonio and Denis Foggia (Italtrans Racing Team) in fifth. The Ranch showcased a plethora of talent, with GASGAS Tech3 duo Augusto Fernandez and Pedro Acosta among the 40 riders in competition. However, it was Rossi and Marini who rightfully claimed the spotlight on Sunday.
