Aston Martin – Score: 5/10
Aston Martin introduced an unexpected changing design for its 2025 vehicle. The signature British Racing Green stays in place but the black sidepods disrupt the smooth lines that are characteristic of the car design. The applied dark sidepods seem extraneous according to reviewers who suggest potential weight reduction plans for the upcoming 2025 season. The fluorescent yellow elements brighten the newer design but the rest of the livery falls short of previous years’ aesthetics. People following Formula 1 competition will watch to see if the team makes any modifications prior to the season’s opening race.
Red Bull Racing – Score: 6/10
Red Bull Racing has kept its traditional vehicle design for a successive year. The signature matte blue, yellow, and red color scheme of the classic appearance stays consistent because only minor changes occurred to the sponsorship logos. Team fans may feel disappointed by the absence of innovation although the brand-consistency enhances the team’s identity through repetition. Despite having a standard design Red Bull maintains its prominent placement among track liveries which are easily recognizable by Formula 1 spectators.
Williams – Score: 5.5/10
Williams provides a nice-looking yet unexciting paint design for its 2025 racing vehicle. The car presents a blue color scheme which progresses from black to white through a transitional pattern. The innovative tesselating pattern from earlier seasons disappeared while the design adopted a straightforward newer approach. Attention-grabbing branding from Atlassian stands prominent on the engine cover due to its newly established major sponsorship partnership The Duracell battery design still decorates the airbox but has lost its previous unforgettable quality. The bicycle displays a neat appearance but it fails to show creativity which would enhance its distinctive appeal.
Sauber – Score: 7/10
Sauber brought a more audacious automobile appearance in 2025 following their lackluster 2024 design. The neon green livery previously praised in the Las Vegas GP year ago stands as the dominant color on the first two-thirds of the vehicle. The exposure of carbon material at the car’s rear connects smoothly to a gradient strip for an expressive design appeal. Additional elements in the official renders contrast with the tamer livery version shown at the launch so fans wonder how the car will appear at actual races. The implementation of this design promises to rank among the top distinctive race car livery designs on the circuit.
McLaren – Score: 6.5/10
McLaren decided to continue the papaya and black color scheme for 2025 because it reflects their modern brand image. The 2025 car maintains an almost exact match to its championship-winning predecessor from 2024 whereas the sponsor arrangement underwent slight modifications. It makes sense for the team to maintain a proven design over completely new ideas because it has worked well in the past. The distinctive design still stands as a major brand element for McLaren Team despite lacking originality among other Formula One design options.
Haas F1 Team – Score: 6/10
For the current season Haas chose to minimize its use of naked carbon while increasing visibility of its standard black white red color palette. The sidepods have received a more distinctive design approach after removing the previous stylized Haas logo artwork on the plain surface. This racing scheme delivers a contemporary style which successfully makes Haas teams stand out during F1 races without making any radical changes to their appearance. This new design represents significant progress compared to previous designs because the team used to favor safe and unremarkable designs.
Ferrari – Score: 7.5/10
The Ferrari 2025 car features a classic design that underwent minor changes to its appearance. A darkened red variant replaces the standard red hue which echoes the color scheme from the 2022 model. White elements added by HP as the main sponsor revive the paint scheme from Schumacher’s era in early 2000s. The choice to eliminate yellow elements from the car faces potential opposition because fans had become fond of that design trait. The UniCredit sponsorship on Ferrari looks unnatural because of the added white outlines. The company made good strides in adding contemporary sponsor requirements without damaging its established history.
Mercedes – Score: 8/10
For 2025 Mercedes adopts a new design variation of its classical black silver scheme. Silver introduces more visible elements on the engine cover together with side panels which create a nostalgic effect linking to the Silver Arrows heritage. Petronas teal serves as a refined aesthetic element which enhances the visual union of silver against black colors. The removal of red accents from the prior years makes INEOS’ future involvement in Formula 1 sponsorship become uncertain. The revised design presents a minor enhancement to the Mercedes appearance which maintains its stylish profile.
Alpine – Score: 8.5/10
Alpine executed a complete design evolution for 2025 by leaving behind its 2024 minimalist carbon-intensive appearance. The metallic blue signature color of the team is back to its full brilliance and combines flawlessly with the eye-catching pink elements that decorate the car. The latest livery design for Alpine A521 draws its inspiration from the Brabham BT60B which competed in 1992. The incorporation of Eni’s logo on the engine cover provides an interesting visual element to this design along with other features. The new design produces a powerful aesthetic that grabs attention on race tracks because Alpine wants to express itself firmly to the competition.
Racing Bulls (VCARB) – Score: 9/10
The renewed team known as Racing Bulls presents a vibrant and challenging color scheme for their vehicle in the coming year. Out of all tracks the white color scheme of this car makes it stand out as one of the brightest versions in competition. The body displays a vivid Red Bull logo throughout while the yellow components stand out on the nose and roll hoop. The rear uses an artistic gradient from dark blue to white to produce a contemporary effect. The whole racing vehicle design mimics the single-race Turkish Grand Prix livery Red Bull utilized in 2020. Racing Bulls get their name from this distinctive design that guarantees their distinct appearance from other race cars.
