BUDAPEST, Hungary – The Hungarian Grand Prix provided yet another spectacular display of Red Bull Domination, with Max Verstappen continuing his sensational form and securing a record-breaking 12th consecutive win for Red Bull. The dominant victory by Verstappen in Hungary further solidified his position at the top of the championship standings.

Verstappen’s streak of seven consecutive race wins has been a remarkable achievement, showcasing his mastery over the competition. The Dutch driver’s performance at the Hungaroring was nothing short of awe-inspiring, with a commanding victory margin of 33.7 seconds over Lando Norris, who finished in second place.

The 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix will be remembered not only for Verstappen’s triumph but also for the impressive resurgence of McLaren. Lando Norris reaffirmed McLaren’s resurgence in form with his second consecutive podium finish. The young British driver showed his skill and determination as he held off Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, in the closing stages of the race.

The Hungarian Grand Prix weekend started with a thrilling qualifying session, where Lewis Hamilton secured pole position. However, Verstappen’s flawless start and brilliant driving skills quickly propelled him into the lead, leaving Hamilton to settle for a fourth-place finish. Verstappen’s teammate, Perez, put on an incredible performance, starting from ninth on the grid and battling his way up to an impressive third-place finish.

The race also saw some unfortunate incidents, with Alpine’s Daniel Ricciardo getting caught up in a collision at the first corner, dropping him to last place. However, Ricciardo displayed his determination and skill as he fought his way back to a respectable 13th-place finish.

George Russell despite starting 18th on the grid, Russell showcased his talent and determination, finishing sixth at the chequered flag, thanks to some brilliant overtaking moves during the race.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc had an eventful race, crossing the line in sixth place but losing a position due to a penalty for speeding in the pit lane during his second pit stop. This demoted him to seventh, while his teammate, Carlos Sainz, finished eighth.

Red Bull’s performance has been nothing short of dominant this season, with Verstappen extending his championship lead over Perez to a substantial 110 points at the halfway point of the season. With their 12th consecutive win in Hungary, Red Bull now holds significant points lead of 229 heading into the next weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix.
